Buford Highway Farmers Market is the siren's call for all Grocery Goblins...It is the UN of grocery stores. I did not know what to expect--from its name, I thought this was a typical weekly outdoor farmers market. It was far from it, rather a giant grocery store jam-packed with foods from around the world. I can say with my whole chest that visiting it was a highlight of my trip to Atlanta. I live in Southern California, where Asian/Latin American/Middle Eastern groceries are easy to come by. Still, I don't think I can recall a grocery store as international as BHFM. I am pretty sure every continent (maybe except Australia and Antarctica (lol)) is represented here. BHFM is the perfect place to get gifts, treats, and produce/ingredients you can typically access at overpriced "specialty" grocery stores. This place is almost as big as a Costco and has an expansive produce section, meat and seafood counter, cheese counter, dessert counter(s), deli, panaderia, and numerous prepared food counters. My partner had fun combing all of the aisles and picked up some snacks to bring home, and we found that the prices for most products were quite reasonable.

This is one of my favorite places to go. The produce is from around the world, fresh and very reasonably priced. I've given up gardening because of it. The meat and fish sections are huge - tons of selection and pretty good prices. Rows and rows of international ingredients. If you love cooking and trying new recipes from all over, this place is a treat.

Came for the first time EVER & I grew up in ATLANTA my whole life. What a place!! BIG!! Produce is fresh & plentiful- expensive. Fairly decent meat & seafood area, but not at all like DeKalb Farmers Market. Small cheese selection- not a lot of out of the ordinary foods, but definitely a good variety. Wines, frozen foods, ethnic, RAMIN... thise crazy flavor Lays chips & KITKATS Decent parking, but tight. Go & enjoy. We had a good time, but not sure we would take a 30 min trip back. Nothing we can't get closer to home.

Come to Buford Highway Farmers Market for a wealth of worldwide products. We did and couldn't be happier to find discounted fruits and vegies that quickly filled our shopping cart. Pineapples and bananas of every persuasion. Bag of Hawaiian coffee and Hawaiian Passion/Guava and more bottled drinks from Mexico. Staples like ginger paste and Daifuku matcha and round flour fajita style Casera tortillas. You could spend hours wandering through aisle after aisle of produce and freezer and deli and assorted Asian wares. Lots of shoppers are thinking the same thoughts of discounts and value. Buford Highway Farmers Market won't disappoint you. They offer goods and represent a diverse mix of favorite products for Atlanta's unique populace.
